Enrique is an award winning filmmaker/editor from Richmond, CA who’s current focus is documentary filmmaking and directing/editing music videos.
With over 5 years in the film industry, Enrique is well versed in all aspects of video production from pre-production and inception of a project, down to the best ways to export and deliver a video to look its absolute best.
Graduating from UC Santa Cruz in 2018 with a B.A in Film & Digital Media, Enrique and his fellow classmates won 2018’s Best Student Produced Work at the Santa Cruz Film Festival 2018 for their film At Capacity. Working as a freelance camera operator for small documentaries and as videographer for weddings and events right out of college, Enrique gained hands-on experience on the field and learned not only how to capture a moment, but how to capture emotions.
Shortly after, Enrique joined Porygon Studios as an editor in 2019 . Alongside the Porygon team, Enrique created many forms of content such as instagram reels, real estate videos, ads for businesses (big and small) and short form documentaries.
In 2022, Enrique joined the team at RH as an assistant editor, working directly with the lead editor and post production supervisors to create innovative workflows that best suited any and all projects. Assembling and organizing projects, making string outs, selects for the lead editor to start a project, archiving and categorizing over a decades worth of footage, Enrique quickly learned how to streamline projects efficiently to work in a team environment and create a dynamic that was intuitive.
Parting ways with RH in 2024, Enrique is pivoting his focus fully into documentaries, short narrative films and music videos.
